Welcome, i hope you like my project. The four parts are below the glogster.

Characters: My book didn't really have any characters, but i am going to use the scientists that were comenly refered to throughtout the book. The first is Albert Einstein, he developed the theory of general relativity, which is widly used throughout the scientififc world to help predict the motion of stars and other things of that nature. Isaac newton is the other character comonly refered to. he "discovered" gravity, which is now pne of the most important scientific concepts out there.
Theme: what the book is explaining is that there is most likly a theory that connects everything in the universe, a "theory of everything", it explains atempts at this feet and explains how close we have gotten, so the main point is that it is trying to find a theory of everything.
Opinion: i liked my book. even though it was dificult reading and at times hard to understand, i wouldn't have rather read any other book. believe it or not, i liked reading about quantum mechanics and black holes.
Summary: over the course of the book the author jumps around from tipic to topic, ranging from general relativity to worm holes and time travel. in the first chapter he explains our misconceptions of the universe throughout time. in the second chapter he talkes about genral relativity and its effects on space time. in chapter three he talks about the beginning of the universe, its expansion, and the slim chance of it's recolapse.in chapter four the author explains the uncertinty principle, which is; the more accuratly you observe one thing about an object, then the less accuratly you cane observe something else about that same object. chapter five explains the atom and talks about natural forces, such as gravity and electro-magnitivity. chapter six goes in depth about black holes; why things can never escape, how they form, and how to find them. chapter seven explains that the only thing that can get out of a black hole is gamma and x-rays, which was slightly confusing considering the last chapter.in chapter eight the author talks about where the universe came from and where it is going. chapter nine is all about time and it variation. the next chapter was about worm holes, the highways of space-time, and the posablities of time travel. in chapter eleven, it talks more about that "theory of everything" and where we are in that whole process. chapter twelve concludes the book and talks more about the "theory of everything". then there are some short one page descriptions of the scientists.
